Location

Knapwell is a hamlet lying about 10 miles (16.09 km) west of Cambridge situated between the A428 and A14 and 7.8 miles (12.55 kilometres) to St. Ives.

Village Information

Knapwell woods are well known locally for the wonderful display of bluebells in early spring and is home to lots of wildlife, a fantastic place for family adventures.

There is a collection of period homes which line the village, including Knapwell Wood Farm which is a luxury and unique Bed and Breakfast set in two acres. The nearest primary school is in the neighbouring village of Elsworth which is rated good by Ofsted. The secondary school for children living in Knapwell is Swavesey Village College, which is rated as outstanding.
