Location

Harston is located close to the M11 and 5 miles (8.05 kilometres) to the south of Cambridge, with a regular train service from Foxton station also providing access into Cambridge and London. There is also a cycle path from the village leading to Addenbrooke's Hospital.

This popular south Cambridgeshire village boasts many impressive period homes including Harston House which is a grade II listed and dates back to the 17th century.

Primary schooling is provided by Harston & Newton Primary School, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted while the secondary school catchment comes under Melbourne Village College, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, located 6 miles (9.66 kilometres) away.

Typically, as with many villages of this size, the village hall is a central and well-used facility which holds regular events, classes and groups.

There is a general store with post office, a recreation ground with pavilion, petrol station, a kitchen and interior shop with a supermarket around 3 miles (4.83 kilometres) away in Trumpington.
