Location

The Coleridge ward is a popular part of the city for families as it neighbours the areas of Romsey and Petersfield where many facilities, shops and restaurants can be found. Also, the train station is within close reach as is Addenbrooke's and the local secondary school. The centre of the Coleridge ward is approximately 1.9 miles (3.06 kilometres) from the city centre.

Area Information

Local parks include the Coleridge Recreation Ground with two outdoor tennis courts and Ashbury Close play area.

For nursery schooling, the closest is Brunswick Nursery and Romsey Mill, which is a Christian charity providing preschool sessions, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. Primary Schools are St Philips Primary School and Ridgefield Primary School which also includes a nursery class for those aged 3 to 5.

Facilities

The closest doctors surgery is the Mill Road Surgery and the local dentist can be found at the Brookfields Health centre.

Coleridge Community College on Radegund Rd is the closest secondary school.
